My work is based on a theme of cruel human history, inauspicious local culture and Japanese folktales.

Basic elements of my work are nightmares I was tossed around since my early childhood and my own negative memories. An underlining essence of these two elements is pains of animals and hate of people that can be said as a dark side. These elements are fused in myself once and decomposed as raw materials of my expressions and cover all four corners of the canvas.

I use light blocking black velvet as a canvas. I build up distorted space where warped shapes and wicked woman exist by utilizing different feel of materials of oil paints, acrylic paints, metal powers, glitters and Rhinestone. It is my intent of my work to create a pictorial world of alternative dimension that is more real than reality to my mind.
